Hinton Plumbing is a family-operated plumbing business run by Anthony and Katie Hinton. Based in Lisarow, our team of local Central Coast plumbers are dedicated to looking after customers across the Coast and Lake Macquarie.
Our founder, Anthony Hinton, has over a decade’s experience in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainage. With a background in carpentry, Anthony has a broad knowledge of property construction and maintenance.
Across the Central Coast, Anthony is renowned for his diagnostic skills, attention to detail and integrity. His knowledge of building and plumbing standards is second to none.
Above and Beyond An Average Plumber
Anthony is Deaf, and this is his superpower. While studying at TAFE, he could not rely on simply listening to his teacher in the classroom. Instead, he had to take ownership of his own education by spending countless hours pouring over his text books at home to absorb the technical aspects of his craft. This commitment and dedication continued into his work and in the running of his company.
When he began Hinton Plumbing, Anthony wanted to run a company that was honest, transparent, and produced high-quality work. He wanted customers to know the options available to them and to be able to make an informed choice about the plumbing solution that would best suit them and their budget.
When he isn’t working, Anthony can be found in the backyard teaching his three young daughters to kick a soccer ball (they’re all Matilda’s fans) and enjoying cuddles with his baby son.
His happy place is on his surfboard on one of the Coast’s many beautiful beaches.
His secret skill is busting out dance moves 90’s shuffle style. Unfortunately, no photographic evidence exists of this.
